PK Ministry

The last two years of Lockdowns and Coronavirus have proven difficult for us all - but even more so in countries like Uganda where there was already huge hardship. Tomson and Grace with PK Ministry have organized food aid for Pastors' families to help them through this time. Extra funding was able to be sent through CHU(UK) to help with this vital ministry.

Tomson and Grace were both brought up as preachers' kids (PKs). In their teens and young adulthood they saw increasing numbers of their PK peers rebelling against their upbringing because of the particular struggles they faced and feeling that they were often neglected as their parents focused so much in caring for their church members.
Once they married, Tomson and Grace’s burden for their rebelling peers increased and so a ministry was born seeking to reach out to their fellow PKs. This is done by taking time to listen, bringing together groups for a couple of days and teaching them skills that can help them earn a living. This has proven to be a very fruitful ministry in seeing significant numbers being reconciled both with parents and with God as well as bringing dignity through work opportunities.
As we took teams to Uganda we saw the invaluable work that Tomson and Grace were doing and the great potential for it to grow with a little financial support and so we began including them as regular beneficiaries.
