2026 Team Visit
The time is drawing near. The team will be away next Tuesday, heading for Uganda. Below is the (rough) itinerary for this trip. Sometimes things have to change! The team is aiming to send updates regularly. These will be added to this page as they come in. Hopefully photos will be included - this will depend on the internet strength at each venue.
The chairman, Jim, sends out this message to all supporters of CHU(UK)
We’re now into the final few days of preparation before the team leaves the UK for Uganda
next week. We want to thank you for your prayers especially with regards to the outbreak of Ebola
in the neighbouring country of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently the situation seems to
be well under control in Uganda, but please continue to pray for the people of DRC who continue to
face an uphill battle with the disease as well as the ongoing challenges of poverty and civil war.
We would really value your prayers as we are out there. For safety in travel, for good health, for physical strength, and above all, that God will take hold of the visit and all involved and use us to further His Kingdom in the school communities.
Thanks very much for all the generous support we have received towards the trip, both in terms of funding but also gifts of hand-knitted dolls, books, puzzles and games. We know both the children and staff will be thrilled to receive them.
